About

Karma Studio for Macramé

Hi! I’m Irit from Neot HaKikar – the macramé studio is in my backyard.
I design and create macramé jewelry with an influence from the desert
environment where I grew up, and inspiration from East Asia, where I’ve
traveled. I create decorative and useful macramé and hold workshops to transfer
my knowledge and love of the art. The workshops are customized and built
according to the group (couple, family, group of 10 participants). No prior
experience is necessary. At the end of the two-hour workshop, you’ll leave with
something you created!
Book in advance.
A little bit about me… I was born in Moshav Neot HaKikar in the south of the
Dead Sea, famous for its beautiful marl rock formations and amazing desert
landscapes. There were always creative materials in my parents’ house. Since I
can remember, I’ve always loved to create things with different materials. I was
mainly attracted to threads and beads, which is how I came to fall in love with
macramé.
