Giora came to Arad after the army and stayed here with his wife Atlia to raise a
family. He was the commander of the Arad Rescue Unit and the deputy commander
of the Ein Gedi Rescue Unit to which he still belongs. Giora knows every stone in the
Judean desert. If you’re ever lost in the desert and need rescuing, just describe him
stones nearby you and he’ll likely know where you are!
Giora conducts jeep tours in the Judean desert, including to Jordan. He knows every
route and every ravine, and knows where to go and when not to go. He organizes
trips including rappelling, including logistics in the field.
He is experienced in providing equipment for people hiking the Israel National Trail
and can even organize desert bar/ bat mitzvahs, and open-air events for any group
size.
