‘An electrifying experience out in the field’, amazing location bike tours in the Dead Sea Land, with professional and compelling training.

All the landscapes and thrills of Nature – various flowers and plants, archaeological sites, water cisterns and caves, family trails, challenging single-trails down the mountainside, and long riding routes in the stunning scenery between mountains and desert.

Gal Magal is addicted to nature trips. He has ploughed through hiking trails in Israel and abroad, on foot and by bike, and he invites you on a journey of love out in the open spaces of nature. A place where you can feel liberated, and enjoy the views and trails.

In order for you to really relax out in the field and concentrate on enjoyment, Gal and the staff will take care of everything else you need in the area. Whether it’s a tasty meal out on location, sleeping out under a star-studded sky in a fully equipped camping complex, or someone to accompany you on a trip deep into the desert.

Among other things, the team has extensive experience in hiking in all terrain conditions and provides logistical guidance services throughout the country, for cyclists and cycling groups, hikers on the ‘Israel National Trail’, groups of hikers, youth movements and more.

Bikes can also be rented for independent riding.

Sculpture Garden

Sculpture Garden - Arad  Itzhik Gamliel is the “metal artist” behind all the unique works prominently  displayed in the Sculpture Garden.  He is a multidisciplinary artist who has been involved in various fields of art for  over 50 years.  Itzhik never studied art. All his creative works spring forth from his innovative  mind and innate talent.  Some of his works include a huge fire-breathing dragon 4.5 meters high,  an imposing giraffe 6 meters high,  and more.  His unique home recently became the number one hosting home in Israel,  with the help of his wife Yaffa Gamliel.  They host diverse groups of visitors.  Yaffa is a talented confectioner and loves to spoil the guests with her tasty  pastries.  Visitors to the Sculpture Garden receive refreshments, alongside a guided art  tour with humorful explanations in the scenic surroundings of the arid desert and  the charming town of Arad.  The tour usually takes a little over an hour.

Giora Eldar

Jeep tours, rappelling, challenging trips, and survival workshops.  Giora came to Arad after the army and stayed here with his wife Atlia to raise a  family. He was the commander of the Arad Rescue Unit and the deputy commander  of the Ein Gedi Rescue Unit to which he still belongs. Giora knows every stone in the  Judean desert. If you’re ever lost in the desert and need rescuing, just describe him  stones nearby you and he’ll likely know where you are!​ Giora conducts jeep tours in the Judean desert, including to Jordan. He knows every  route and every ravine, and knows where to go and when not to go. He organizes  trips including rappelling, including logistics in the field.​ He is experienced in providing equipment for people hiking the Israel National Trail  and can even organize desert bar/ bat mitzvahs, and open-air events for any group  size.​ If you staying at a “Rosh Akher,” you’ll be able to get a discount. Please coordinate in  advance as demand can be high!
