In the heart of the agricultural fields of Moshav Neot HaKikar, in the southern part of the Dead Sea, is Khan Fata Morgana.
A family-run business that provides personal attention to each guest, offers a variety of accommodation options for groups, families and the individual traveler, at affordable prices.
In the complex is a central hospitality unit (a Khan: Desert Inn), surrounded by appointed tents (for up to 30 guests), wooden cabins (up to 10 guests) and rooms with private toilet/shower (up to 4 guests). All accommodation options are air-conditioned.
The Khan has a large shared dining room with a well-equipped kitchen, and the courtyard has seating areas, BBQ corners and spots in which to light camp-fires, all for your use and enjoyment.
The main tent has a dance floor, a small stage, tables and cozy corners in a unique desert atmosphere where events, workshops and conventions can be held.
Guests can also enjoy agricultural tours and meat or vegetarian meals, combining fresh locally produced ingredients, by prior arrangement.
The Khan’s location is a convenient starting point for departures to the many walking trails in the area, it’s close to local attractions and about 25 minutes from the beaches of Ein Bokek. Staff will be happy to help plan routes and provide information about the area.
